Passion de Fleurs from Dammann Freres
Style: Flavored White Tea – Region: France88 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Mar. 6th, 2018
At first, the complexity of the flavors seems to arouse a wholly idiosyncratic chemosensory response. However, as the palate adjusts to the taste, the familiarity of the orchard fruits and the scent of rose take the drinker on a nostalgic journey of unadulterated pleasure, that serves to coalesce this cup of tea into a...

Youthberry White Tea from Teavana
Style: Fruit White Tea – Region: Blend60 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 1/5

First, this tea is a terrible value and barely contains any white tea. I honestly doubt there is more than 1/4 white tea in this. The flavor is extremely sour and reminds me of cranberry juice, and the aroma is quite nice. But for the value, this tea is terrible.

White Rose - Velvet Garden™ from Numi Organic Tea
Style: Flavored White Tea – Region: ?????26 / 100 Aroma: 3/10 Flavor: 1/5 Value: 2/5
Sep. 25th, 2017
This is a profoundly weird drink, not only because its effluent of rose petals and white tea color-morphs like a chameleon from steel gray to gray-green to brown while steeping.
Velvet Garden or Velvet Elvis? The brew smells faintly like burning incense that used to waft out of a hippie neighbor's 3-room backhous...

The smell of chocolate and coconut. It’s just wonderful. The taste has a strong cocoa element, that merges well with the delicate white tea...

Het Gouden Randje offers sweet high tea arrangements for groups of four to eight people, so I invited some friends along on my birthday. You get served three rounds, each with two kinds of tea and something sweet to eat (such as cookies, cake, parfaits...) You'll get to taste several different kinds of tea from very fa...

Peppermint White Tea from Imperial Organic

First of all, please note that you get only 18 bags per box instead of the customary 20. In other words, you will be shortchanged two bags per box from the start, for a price comparable to (if not higher than) other name-brand organic teas on the store shelf.
This practice detracts decidedly from my "value" rating....

Tropical White Tea from Heavenly Tea Leaves
Style: Flavored White Tea – Region: Blend38 / 100 Aroma: 3/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5
May. 26th, 2017
Yet another tea from a sampler that my roommate let me try! I was not a fan.
The leaf looks pretty, but doesn't smell great to me. There's an unpleasant smell, reminiscent of those artificial cheese curl snacks that I absolutely hate. Underneath that, the other smells are light and pleasant, floral and meloney, a...

Pear White Tea (Formerly White Pear) from Revolution Tea
Style: Fruit White Tea – Region: ?????65 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Feb. 25th, 2017
The pear taste is very nice. This tea is rather expensive compared to some other tea bag brands, since it is more like a loose leaf tea in a bag. There is no "tea dust" here. It is one of those rare cases in which you actually do get what you pay for. It is a little too pricey for me, but it makes a nice treat.

Pomegranates White Tea from Music City Tea
Style: Flavored White Tea – Region: ?????83 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 5/5
Jan. 20th, 2017
This is a lovely tea. The pomegranate flavor is delicate and blends well with the white tea. It holds up well to multiple steepings, each time making a cup of golden-colored tea. Though I generally prefer fruit teas where the fruit element is more robust, this is a very smooth, soothing drink. So far, this is the most ...

White Peach Tea from Music City Tea

I *really* love this tea. It's rare I find a flavored white tea that I enjoy, but this one is simply great. The tea is smooth and soothing, the peach flavor tastes natural and nuanced, and they blend together seamlessly. The leaves are high quality, too.
I tried this tea and several others in the store before I boug...

Tangerine Peel White Tea from TeaVivre
Style: Fruit White Tea – Region: Fuding, Fujian, China80 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Sep. 7th, 2016
My first tasting of this tea was in my gaiwan with about 3 grams of tea and 2 grams of tangerine peel. I did a 5 second rinse then 3 infusions. The aroma was sweet and citrusy to begin with. The taste was light, oily, buttery, and smooth with slight orange/tangerine flavors. The second and third infusions became sweete...

White Ginger Pear from Tea Forte

As with many tea Forte - it's all about packaging and presentation. tea Forte is my go-to when I want a showy gift - but the teas themselves are not the best ever - but they are very good. This one - Ginger Pear (More like Fruit and Pear) is tasty and sweet - good hot or iced but you must steep it at least 4-5 minute...

This is a delicious, light-bodied (super light, actually) and fruity fragrant tea. You smell it more than you taste it - at least for me. Terrific at brunch - as Ariel says. I do think it would be pleasant as an iced tea - but you'd have to hot-brew it and let it steep a long time before chilling. (Don;t over ice i...

Tart, sweet, and fruity, this is a solid tea in my book. Its flavor is robust, so it's definitely for when you want something intense. I like it as a peppy breakfast tea when I'm not in the mood for a chai or other flavored black tea. Unfortunately, the tea bag didn't hold up to a second steep at all.

White Blueberry (Blueberry White) from Adagio Teas
Style: Fruit White Tea – Region: Fujian, China80 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
May. 31st, 2015
The aroma of the dry leaf is wonderful if intensely floral and fruity are what you like. Love it.
The white tea comes out much more stongly in the taste than in the scent. For my palate, the flavors blend pretty well -- though I'd be fine with even more blueberry flavor. Leaving the tea on a warmer improves it and d...

White Blueberry (Blueberry White) from Adagio Teas
Style: Fruit White Tea – Region: Fujian, China63 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5

This is an interesting tea. I thought I would like the combination of blueberry and white tea, which I do, but the more I drink it the more I realize there is something off about this tea. I think there is too much blueberry for the amount of tea. The aroma is wonderful if smelled briefly. However, if you take in a ful...

Earl Grey White Tea from Teavana
Style: Flavored White Tea – Region: Blend57 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 1/5

There's an extremely strong citrus flavor that I feel might not come entirely from the bergamot, since it tastes somewhat different from other earl grey I've tried. (Though I've only tried earl grey tea bags.) This flavor is OK, but the very strong astringency of the tea makes this overwhelming flavor stick in your mou...

White Ginger Pear from Tea Forte

I thought this tea was light and refreshing, with fruity (not too overwhelmingly like pear) and slightly tangy (very mildly ginger) flavors. I steeped it for about six minutes and got a mild but noticeable ginger flavor. There are no toasty aromas or flavors at all from the white tea, which I liked. I was given this as...

I accidentally brewed this one near boiling, forgetting it was a white tea. I suspect this is why the first sip tasted a little bitter. I fixed this with just a bit of sugar, making it suddenly a near-perfect cup. I like this one even better than the ginger peach black tea! Also, this may be the first flavored white te...

I don’t like peppermint tea but this is the best one I’ve had. It’s mild and not in your face peppermint and works to blend with the other flavors. Pleasant to drink and calming. Also smells delicious. I wasn’t able to taste any nutty flavors though.

A very good example of a type of flavored tea that I tend not to like. Sampled at Velvet Sky Bakery in Jenkintown.
The dry leaf of this tea was pretty finely broken, not like pictured in the beautiful picture.
This tea has an intense strawberry aroma, which I find cloying. It is, however, very natural, smelling...

Not quite a new favorite, but solid. The fruity scent is quite nice. Though I think I'd prefer this with a different base tea, brewed well and kept hot this tea can be refreshing. People who like flavored white teas should certainly try this one.
