Cozy Chamomile® Herbal Tea from Bigelow Tea
Style: Pure Chamomile Tea – Region: ?????47 / 100 Aroma: 3/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
Nov. 19th, 2014
Drinkable, but by a wide margin not my favorite of the lower-end chamomile blends. Not an especially full or rich flavor, with no notes present besides the chamomile, and even the baseline taste is rather weak. I'll drink it when it's free or when I don't have other options, but I'd pick the Twinings chamomile or, bett...

Unlike a lot of teas that purport to contain apple, this one actually tastes like it might. The cinnamon isn't overpowering or even especially assertive, which means that the tea is quite sweet and not particularly spicy. Probably a good tea to serve people who don't like tea.

This blend is mostly hibiscus and tastes a lot like straight hibiscus tea; it's a pretty high-quality example of this, for a tea bag. Thanks Brytta for sharing this sample!
Brews up an intense red color, very clear too (I drank this in a glass teacup, and it was nice to see).
A surprising amount of complexity in...
Peppermint Herbal Tea from Bigelow Tea
Style: Peppermint Tea – Region: ?????63 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5

I thought this one was all right. It's got that almost-sweet flavor about it, but not as much so as some other varieties. This seemed to contain more menthol than some of the other varieties of peppermint I've tasted, as well.

Flavor-wise, this tea tastes like exactly what it is--a chamomile blend with added mint. I couldn't detect much of a scent to it beyond the standard mint.
I'm not really sure where to put this tea, categorization-wise. The added mint doesn't seem to do anything for the relaxing propensity of chamomile, but the mint ...
Lemon and Ginger from Twinings

This tea is fresh and well-balanced, good hot or cold. It's caffeine free but the spicy ginger wakes me up. One of my favorites!

I took one look at the name and assumed this would taste dreadful, but it turned out to be surprisingly good. Neither flavor overpowers, and while the lemon is an assertive agent the tea carries little hint of the associated acidity; the ginger lends the blend a pleasant sort of spice. I'm not overwhelmed by the scent,...

Reading the other reviews, I'm beginning to wonder if I have an underabundance of sour taste receptors. This tea is so lacking in bitterness that it tastes almost sweet to me, though not in a way I find unpleasant. The flavor is full and contains just a hint of menthol. I agree with Alex that the taste is very similar ...

Served with the outstanding, high-quality breakfast at the Hotel Alt-Görlitz in Görlitz, Germany.
Although this is labelled just Peppermint (both in German and English), close reading of the ingredient list betrays that the it's a mint blend: the main ingredient is spearmint and peppermint is the second ingredient...
Country Peach Passion® Herbal Tea from Celestial Seasonings

Now this has become not only my favorite by Celestial Seasonings, but also my favorite tea involving chamomile--which normally I dislike. Here the chamomile is subtle and well-blended with the other flavors. The peach is also nice, and the tea has the right level of sweetness. In short, I like this one. :-D

Raspberry Zinger Herbal Tea from Celestial Seasonings

This is my favorite of Celestial Seasonings's offerings so far. Sweet, tangy, and straightforwardly fruity are how I'd describe this one. It has a bit of the "Jolly Rancher" candy flavor to it, but isn't excessive with the sweetness. I think the tartness evens out the sweetness much better for this tisane than it did f...

I have mixed feelings about this one. The aroma reminds me exactly of a Jolly Rancher, which is great as a candy but strikes me as too intensely sweet and artificially-fruity for a whole drink. As I sip the drink, it's grown on me a bit. I think the hibiscus probably helps cut the sweetness. It's still not really right...

Subtle and sweet to taste with a pleasant aroma that--unlike a lot of fruit teas I've tried--doesn't come off as a wholly artificial perfume, this is one of my favorites among the fruit teas I've tried from this brand thus far. This is also one of my go-to teas to suggest to people who don't like tea.

Not bad! Lightly tart and simply blueberry, I enjoy this one. There's really nothing else going for it, but if you're in the mood for a straightforward fruit tea, it fits the bill. As people mentioned, the smell is more robust than the flavor. I tried this with milk and it made a decent (but not amazing) latte.

I didn't treat this as an interpretation of chai as some other reviewers did; I just went to a friend's house, found the name interesting, and asked if I could try a cup. I don't find the spice unpleasant or overwhelming; on the contrary, I found it quite good, and I appreciated that the spice lent the tea a caffeine-f...

"It's good." That's pretty much all that I have to say about my experience with this tea. There's nothing that I can find wrong with it, but I don't especially prefer it to any other mint teas. This particular tea is mild in flavor, and I find it less complex than the same brand's 'Refreshing Mint'.

This tea is great for the season, sipping it I couldn't help but feel fall! While this is your run-of-the-mill supermarket tea (and for me, free-from- the-office tea), I definitely enjoyed it, especially on this cool and rainy day. I especially loved the spice tones, both for taste and aroma.

Highly enjoyable tea. This is basically a chai with rooibos as the base. While the flavors are pleasant and well mixed, I would appreciate a stronger flavor. At times, this one comes off a little thin. No bitterness or anything else problematic; I would just love to get even more of a good thing. :-)

Amazed how good this cheap ($2.99 for a box of 24 bags) bagged grocery-store tea is. Not nearly as good as the Republic of Tea's version - but much less money and perfect for what I needed it for (A local PTA meeting). Stash teabags are perfect when you need to provide tea bags for a crowd and offer a decent quality ...

The mint isn't bad and dominates the smell, but in the drink I can taste too much of the chamomile. Very meh. If you like chamomile this one likely won't be bad, but it just isn't right for my palate.
