I have been to Avaata Tea Estate in the Nilgiris in southern India. The natural tea leaves are perfect in shape and need not to be fermented. Each single sip of tea fills your mouth with sensation of fruits and flowers. Fairly sharp and extremely smooth flavor. Golden Tips Teas are doing great work to assemble best of ...Read Full Review

Magnificent! Not quite what I would expect form green tea; definitely thought is was more reminiscent of high quality green oolongs.Read Full Review
I couldn't get enough of the vegetal flavor and buttery soupy texture. This was a thick tea, and practically a meal in itself.
Handles well over multiple steepings; I'm pretty sure...

This is one of the best green teas I've tried to come out of India, or anywhere outside China and Japan for that matter. It also tasted the most like a top-notch Chinese green tea, of any tea I've tried yet from India.Read Full Review

The aroma of the rather large, pale, leaves is a bit light at first, but some good snuffling brings out the notes of fresh cut vegetation, baking bread, lima beans and green beans. This is another one of those teas that makes me hungry while sniffing it again.Read Full Review

The aroma of this tea is very faint, the leaves have a slightly vegetal and leafy aroma and that is all. What little aroma there is in the leaves is certainly a classic green tea.Read Full Review
The taste of the tea is probably the most 'green' green tea I have ever had. That probably needs some explanation, when I say it tastes l...

This is a very strong, bold-tasting green tea that is among my favorite green teas ever sampled. I sampled this tea, my first from Octavia Tea, for the first time, in a new and very cute cafe, Velvet Sky Bakery, in Jenkintown. It was brewed in the Adagio Ingenuitea infuser, incidentally, my first time having tea brew...Read Full Review

I wasn't impressed with this tea and found it quite bitter, which was a bit disappointing since I like so many other teas by Arbor Teas! I don't have any complaints about their pricing or the scent of the tea, which was average, but I didn't like the taste at all. After finding the flavor to be too sour and strong on...Read Full Review

My favorite ever green tea was a long-leaf green from Makaibari estate. This is a very different tea, and alas, I did not enjoy it quite as much, but it was still a very good tea.Read Full Review

This was an interesting tea, but it was weaker in aroma than I would have liked. Tangy flavor, with tones of lemon or lime in the aroma. A hint of grassy tones, and cooked vegetable aromas as well, like asparagus. Almost a hint of vanilla in the aroma. Very much unlike Chinese or Japa...

The liqueur is a light amber color, almost looking like it has no flavoring to it. It smells floral and fruity. The flower smells like rose but it tastes like jasmine. There is a lightly earthen tone at the back of the smell that is similar to many black darjeelings.Read Full Review
