22 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 4/5

In general I don;t like Rooibos, but this has green in it and a bunch of fruity peach flavoring. Supposedly also contains dandelion leaf. Not a big fan of this one.

Organic Green Tea with Pomegranate & Acai from Bigelow Tea

Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: Blend

75 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Mar. 4th, 2019

Super-fruity wit a hint of acid - very nice over ice and OK hot, too. (Add sweetener if you wish but I don;t think it needs it - so go easy on the honey/sugar).

A nice change of pace it winter for hot or summer for iced fruity-green bagged tea. Inexpensive and convenient.

Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: Blend

72 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
Jan. 11th, 2019

Super fruity and can be overly sweet - even without sweetener so go easy on any honey or sugar you might normally add. Very, very fruity. A slight tart finish. Pleasant enough hot but for me better over ice. Inexpensive bagged tea.

Earl Grey - Lavender from Twinings

Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: Blend

67 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
Jan. 4th, 2019

Twinings is a very afforadle and accessible brand of bagged teas - and if you like a classic Earl Grey (Bergamot flavor), and if you happen to like lavendar - the aroma of this tea is very nice. I would rather sniff it than drink it! I tried it hot with no dairy (ick) and no sweetener but a tad bit of honey might be ...

Jasmine Oolong Tea from Teavana

Style: Jasmine Tea – Region: ?????

62 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5
Aug. 25th, 2017

This is a sweet floral tea with a longer than average steeping time - but it is worth the wait. A little overpriced as you are paying Teavana's marketing department - but I like it - I can enjoy this equally hot or iced and I don;t sweeten it. The aroma is just wonderful - even better than the taste (to me).

So expensive but fun and tasty. A novel-tea. (Pun intended). I am a big jasmine fan - but there are better ones out there. Still, I liked it. I like this one even better than Teavana's Jasmine Oolong (I love greens!). Boith are good choices for hot or iced enjoyment.

Green Tea with Lemon from Bigelow Tea

Style: Green Tea with Lemon – Region: ?????

53 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
Jan. 18th, 2017

Meh. Not impressed. You are better off brewing your favorite green tea and squeezing fresh lemon into it. I do not care for lemon in my green tea - unless it is iced. That said, Bigelow is inexpensive (and in my office - provided for free - in bags and K-cups) and accessible. An average, inoffensive green tea.

Ginger Peach Green Tea from Stash Tea

Style: Flavored Green Tea – Region: ?????

73 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Sep. 30th, 2016

Inexpensive - around $3 - $4 for a box of 25 tea bags. Frut and peachy fragrance that brews up quickly. Not nearly as good as Republic of Teas version - but very inexpensive and good when I can't get Republic's. My 11 year old loves fruuity teas (Peach and Pineapple especially). Some ginger notes - but not harsh. ...

White Ginger Pear from Tea Forte

Style: Fruit White Tea – Region: Blend

67 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5
Jul. 26th, 2016

As with many tea Forte - it's all about packaging and presentation. tea Forte is my go-to when I want a showy gift - but the teas themselves are not the best ever - but they are very good. This one - Ginger Pear (More like Fruit and Pear) is tasty and sweet - good hot or iced but you must steep it at least 4-5 minute...

Jul. 20th, 2016

This is a delicious, light-bodied (super light, actually) and fruity fragrant tea. You smell it more than you taste it - at least for me. Terrific at brunch - as Ariel says. I do think it would be pleasant as an iced tea - but you'd have to hot-brew it and let it steep a long time before chilling. (Don;t over ice i...

Blargh! One of my office-mates LOVES this stuff - but what does he know? Anyhow - it's OK. Just OK. Smells better than it brews-up. Dark black tea with a hint of sweetness. Just OK. Very inexpensive - thus it is available at many offices - like mine. (Jenna T. Drinker sums it up perfectly.)

Style: Genmaicha – Region: Japan

80 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 3/5
Mar. 14th, 2016

For a genmaicha (which I enjoy in spring/summer) I really love this one - probably my favorite roasted-toasted brown-rice note-filled tea. Even good over ice - and unsweetened for a true grain-filled experience. I actually love this one - but if you are not a Genmaicha lover - you may not want to try this one. More ...

Uber-sweet - and a bit cloying for me - but my kid loves it for whatever reason and the packaging (which makes it pricey) is cute and giftable. With Tea Forte - it's all about the packaging and sometimes the actual teas are "just OK". A few are good. You have to try and see which you prefer. Expensive, but giftable...

I love to brew up pearled teas - and jasmine pearls ROCK for me - so I liked this one. Fun to watch the pearls unfurl when you brew them. Delicious jasmine/green/floral notes. Fun to drink and requires no sweetener.

Super cheap and - if you can get it (try H-Mart or other Asian grocers) it's a good bagged Genmaicha option. Refreshing in summer with a roasty-toasty aroma. Grassy notes - and also a sweetness (I do not get a "Honey Smacks" note).

Can even be OK over ice.

Roasty-Toasty but not worth the price - there are better (and also worse - see my other Gen Mai Cha reviews) versions available. If you are a Gen mai lover (Roasted rice/grain notes) this is a decent choice but no holy grail. Very nice in summer.

Just OK - and I did not get the "Honey Smacks" note - but there is an odd sweetness to this rice/grain tea. I generally love Gen Mai Cha - but 2 leaves version is just fair. Fortunately it is not too expensive - and I was able to try it at a local coffee/tea shop so now I know not to buy a whole box. Not bad - but t...

I loathe Earl Grey - but that cool little sachet makes it all worthwhile. (Not?). Smells of Bergamot (Duh! It's Earl Grey) and steeps up strong and you can easily get 2 infusions per sachet. Pricey but if you have an earl grey lover in the family Tea Forte products make a nice, classy gift. There are many other TF...

That said, if you like Chai - and Cinnamon/Nutmeg-y flavors you might like this.

I can't stand it.

I HATE Earl Grey - and Twinings is no exception - but Lady Grey I can somehow tolerate. Maybe it's the lemon mixed with the bergamot? Anyhow this one smells way better than it tastes and you do NOT want to add milk to it. I had it both with and without Splenda to see what it would be like. Meh.

37 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 1/5
Sep. 15th, 2014

Free in my office circa 2014. This "decaf" black tea with a hefty dose of citric acid (lemon juice?? I think not.) is available and drinkable but I would not go out of my way for it. We also have Bigelow's "Classic" green tea in the office. It's a step above Lipton-kick-your-ass black, but that's about it. No big w...
