(Retired) An interesting tea that is good with just a little sugar and it can take milk as well. Lemon is doable too but not the best. There is a light prunelike sweetness that comes thru in the moderately robust flavor.

For a budget priced tea, I am very happy with this. Reasonably robust and flavorful, this shines on ice but is good hot too. Blends well with citrus and sugar. This is also an excellent choice for Indian masala chai. A very versatile and well priced tea. I've ordered it several times now.

An enjoyable, but not super interesting tea that struck me as a little pricey. One of my favorite genmaichas yet. Thank you to Upton, for throwing this in as a free sample with my order!
Dry leaf looks a dusty bright yellow color, much more yellowish than most Matcha. Aroma is very mild, mostly of the toasted rice.

Yellow tea! I was turned on by the possibility of trying a new variety of tea, one that I had not heard of before. Mine was called Breakfast Blend (not Breakfast Fannings.) This is a solid breakfast tea, with some metallic tannins and a cereal-like taste. Very finely ground, and similar to traditional Irish and English breakfast teas.

Here is a mediocre jasmine tea from Upton, which does offer some better ones. The base tea is not very interesting, and the flower aspect is not the best. It is still drinkable tho, and it does smell nice. It is called "China Jasmine" on the website but the label reads "Jasmine Green Tea." Offered at a low price.

This has a little more bergamot than your average earl grey - it has more heft and orange taste - but it is not overwhelming, and is within the normal range for an EG. I find this to be a very good tea, nice with milk and sugar or lemon and sugar (which is my favorite way to take EG), and possessing a pleasant aroma....

This was a remarkably good tea for a low price: a strong black tea that was still quite smooth and had great aromatic complexity and depth. One of the best broken-leaf teas I've ever tried.
