Full bodied tea. Absolutely the best cup of tea I've had this year. I've given it to several friends, and they have asked me where to buy it.

Generous on the leaf--the teabag reads 2.5 grams, an amount similar to what I'd use for one cup when using loose-leaf tea, and it makes me realize how much a lot of companies skimp on the leaf.
This is a broken-leaf Darjeeling, with smallish pieces of leaf . The leaf is highly heterogeneous in color: many of the le...

What a lovely aroma of fresh, woodsy, sweet florals. Both the dry and wet leaves give off this great scent. The tea liquor is a medium amber and has the very pleasant taste of what I might imagine would occur if the dry forest floor were brewable, crisp, smooth, sweet, somewhat earthy - the dry crisp earthy. Perhaps...

I listed value as only a 3 because you either have to order $60 worth of tea for free shipping or pay a very large shipping cost directly from India. Aside from that, this is such a good tea. It is the first one I have had from Darjeeling that smells like toasted peanuts. It tastes nutty and earthy and toasty. Not a...

My wife's favorite tea. It is indeed fruity and floral. I'm still developing my tea tastebuds but this one is very tasty. It does have a bit of astringency in the aftertaste. Better than other Darjeelings I've tried.

This tea was outstanding but I did not find that it fit its commercial description. I don't notice any wood-like aroma nor would I describe this tea as brisk. It shares many characteristics with a highly tannic Assam, but it is smoother, with little bitterness or astringency.
Aroma is mostly of sweet, dark dried f...

This was my first Nilgiri tea. I have heard Nilgiris described as being similar to Ceylon and I can see this. It's definitely more similar to a a lower-elevation Ceylon than it is to any other Indian tea I've tried. I don't notice much high-grown character in this tea.
I also think it's reminiscent of a Hubei Kee...

The liquor has a beautiful floral aroma with that sweet darjeeling muscatel scent. In taste, it is not as delicate as a first flush. It is bold, but without much of the floral notes that 2nd flushes usually have. It does have the soft mouthfeel described by the vendor, but I did not detect any woody notes. The tea is a...

I find this tea muscular but not particularly illuminating. Do not oversteep. Do not expect any kind of tea revelation, either. Passable.

The tea produces a nice golden cup. It has a strong astringent taste, and of course the muscatel that I've grown to love from Darjeelings. While it has the distinctive Darjeeling aroma, it does not have any delicate floral notes. the leaves are nice and large, and you don't need much to get a dark full bodied cup. The ...

This is a very mild Assam. It is super smooth and has no bitterness whatsoever. To me it tastes like malty, liquid honey. It is super sweet, thick, and smooth. It has a sweet smell, similar to a raisin or apricot, with a slight tobacco aroma. When I taste it however, the only flavors that come through for me are the...

Each tea bag is a 'pyrmaid infuser'. It is a good way to let the tea breathe a little bit, and spread out. The leaves have a lovely sweet floral scent. I steeped the tea for the 4 minutes recommended on the box. The tea has a faint floral fragrance, along with a hint of that Darjeeling muscatel. These aromas translate...

The liqueur is a light amber color, almost looking like it has no flavoring to it. It smells floral and fruity. The flower smells like rose but it tastes like jasmine. There is a lightly earthen tone at the back of the smell that is similar to many black darjeelings.
The taste is started off with a overtone of jasmi...

I've now tried quite a few different sources of tulsi and I can say that this is one of the best. This is the first blend I've tried--in the past I've only had Rama or Krishna tulsi, and I tend to prefer Krishna tulsi as it's smoother.
I brewed this with boiling water and let it steep for 15 minutes. Steeping less...

A lovely tea. Almost delicate, almost sweet, almost berry-like. Not much like the Ceylon teas it supposedly resembles. I think it could stand up easily to it's big brother, Darjeeling. It is bright, but smooth, with no tannic overtones. It is also Organic!

On its own, this is a kind of ho-hum tea, tastingkind of woody and over-roasted, without any grapiness to speak of. However, I added some cream to it and that rounded out all the rough edges and made it sweeter and good enough to have 3 cups in a row.

You need to treat this one as a green and only brew it for 2 minutes. I was not impressed with it hot, but as a cold-brewed tea in the fridge for 5 hours, it was lovely, with a full mouth feel and a somewhat nutty, malty flavor. Still, nothing distict about it and I won't get it again. I find many first flush Darjee...

Surprisingly weak given that this contains Assam black tea as the main ingredient. I brewed this in a small 6 oz. cup, for 3 minutes, with boiling water, and it still came out fairly weak (and a golden color, not a rich brown color like most black teas). My impression is either that less tea was used, or that a gentl...

I never cease to be amazed by what comes out of Makaibari estate.
The dry brownish leaves with a few greener leaves mixed in turn noticeably greener upon brewing--most of them become the color of a green tea, with a few olive-colored ones mixed in. The cup is a deep golden hue, no darker than some green teas.
