African Solstice from Tea Forte
Style: Flavored Rooibos – Region: Blend94 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 4/5

I actually tried the loose version of this tea rather than the sachet, but the product page is the same as linked here.
I enjoyed this! I got two good steeps out of it. It has a nice, smooth feeling. It’s definitely a nice flavored rooibos.
Bonus: My son also loved the sunflower on the packaging.
Black Cherry from Tea Forte
Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: ?????95 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 4/5

I really like this tea. The cherry flavor and black tea flavor blend together well (although the ingredients list oddly doesn’t include cherry). I brewed it at 205° and it steeped well without creating bitterness. I used the packet of “single steep” tea twice. The second steep wasn’t quite as strong and partic...

For me, afternoon caffeine inevitably means insomnia, so I've spent some effort trying to find a decent decaf. I've found a few decaf green teas and Earl Greys that are drinkable, but I've yet to find an unflavored black tea that's worth the trouble. Despite being the most expensive decaf I've tried, Tea Forté's Decaf...

I am not a fan of mint teas - but the citrus/orange-y notes in Tea Forte's cute little sachet made this one palatable. I recommend steeping longer than 3-4 minutes and then chilling and service over ice. I did not care for it hot. As with all Tea Forte - you are paying for packaging and they make great gifts.

As with many tea Forte - it's all about packaging and presentation. tea Forte is my go-to when I want a showy gift - but the teas themselves are not the best ever - but they are very good. This one - Ginger Pear (More like Fruit and Pear) is tasty and sweet - good hot or iced but you must steep it at least 4-5 minute...

With Tea Forte you are paying for cutesy packaging - and these are terrific for gift giving - hostess gifts, bridal showers etc. The tea itself is usually good but not mind blowing and their "estate" darjeeling is good. Very nice, actually, and I am a BIG darjeeling fan (The first flush from Republic of tea is terrif...

Uber-sweet - and a bit cloying for me - but my kid loves it for whatever reason and the packaging (which makes it pricey) is cute and giftable. With Tea Forte - it's all about the packaging and sometimes the actual teas are "just OK". A few are good. You have to try and see which you prefer. Expensive, but giftable...

This tea wasn't the worst, but it wasn't really for me. The aroma was better than the flavor. It's possible I over-steeped it, as it went a bit bitter in a distinctively green tea fashion. Basically, I like the idea of this tea better than its execution.

I like Tea Forte - and their packaging is excellent. But it's what's inside that sachet that counts - and this Green "Gunpowder" style tea is delicious with a mild, (generic?) grassy flavor that I happen to enjoy. Is it the best green ever? Not by a long-shot - but it is solid and easy to drink (I do it unsweetened,...

Tea Forte is all about packaging and presentation. That said - the actual teas are pretty darned good and their English Breakfast (I got it is part of a variety pack) is just fine. Brews up quickly and RICH and dark - you can get 2 maybe even 3 (although the 3rd will be weaker) infusions from one "elegant sachet".

Earl Grey from Tea Forte
Style: Earl Grey Tea – Region: Blend60 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 2/5

I loathe Earl Grey - but that cool little sachet makes it all worthwhile. (Not?). Smells of Bergamot (Duh! It's Earl Grey) and steeps up strong and you can easily get 2 infusions per sachet. Pricey but if you have an earl grey lover in the family Tea Forte products make a nice, classy gift. There are many other TF...

I thought this tea was light and refreshing, with fruity (not too overwhelmingly like pear) and slightly tangy (very mildly ginger) flavors. I steeped it for about six minutes and got a mild but noticeable ginger flavor. There are no toasty aromas or flavors at all from the white tea, which I liked. I was given this as...

The tea bag has pretty broken pieces of leaf. Brews up a hazy greenish-colored cup.
The pear aroma is just the right strength, and blends well with the base tea. I don't notice the ginger much at all. Ginger is a strong flavor and I expect it to add a bit of edge or spiciness, as well as warmth, and I sense none ...

Unsure of price, but it's almost surely worth it! Best tea ive ever had! Cinnamon smell...hot and spicy like a fireball candy but more mild...very smooth and tasty...slightly sweet like sugar added but there isn't!!! Very very good

I have been trying to drink more herbal blends and lessen my caffeine intake. This tea was an attempt to do that. I will cut to the chase, it didn’t work. I will say that I did taste berry and citrus notes in this. As for hibiscus, when brewed I could smell it, and I guess now I can say I tasted it because I can’t ...

The aroma is very sweet, lots of almond and cherry goodness, sadly no aroma of tea sneaks through. Once steeped you can smell a bit of a leafy green tea aroma along with the now mellowed out cherry and almond.
The taste is mellow and smooth. Not very sweet (unlike the aroma) and a nice blend of almond and cherry. It...
Tupelo Honey Fig from Tea Forte
Style: Flavored White Tea – Region: Blend57 / 100 Aroma: 4/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5

This tea smells like leaves, no herb or aroma sticks out as being prominent, it is just dried leaves. It smells like nature! Sadly this means it does not smell like figs or honey which is disappointing. After it is steeped the aroma of honey is present along with herbaceous notes.
The taste is odd, a bit tingly and ...
Black Currant from Tea Forte
Style: Fruit Black Tea – Region: Blend73 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5

Super expensive (as all the cutesy-packaged Tea Forte teas are!) but so deliciously fruity and easy to drink. (You can get 2 cups easily out of a bag - so keep that in mind. Needs no sweetener. Very good for first-time tea drinkers and the adorable packaging (and high price) make it a suitable hostess gift. Fun. (S...

Super over-priced but the cute packaging is fun. This is one of my favorite from Tea Forte - but I am a huge Jasmine/Green fan in general. Richly scented with jasmine so it is floral and sweet smelling. Very good hot.

This is a good tea. It’s the perfect blend of orange and mint. Tea Forte did well striking the balance without this tasting artificial.
Here’s the thing: mojitos are my favorite mixed drink. I would LOVE to try this tea with lime rather than orange. Although I enjoy oranges and mint on their own, I don’t ador...
Cucumber Mint (Skin Smart) from Tea Forte
Style: Green Tea with Mint – Region: Blend40 / 100 Aroma: 4/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 2/5
Jul. 24th, 2012
This tea has a strange scent, both fruity and minty, which to me smelled like alcohol. The flavor isn't impacted much by this, tasting like a normal green tea. However, it's nothing special and definitely isn't worth the price. The mint adds a hint of coolness, but the tea is somewhat bland and simple.

This is a nice, but overpriced, flavored tea. The green tea quality is ok but not great although the light cherry and almond flavors make this refreshing and sweet. It would be nice for deserts or as a nice ice tea.

This tea is very good. It has a sweet flavor that at first I thought was a little overwhelming. I usually add cream and sugar to my tea, but when I did a second infusion, I only added cream, and it tasted better. It's rare that I find a tea that tastes good without added sweetener. The flavors blend very well.
