This tea could almost be summarised in a single word: Nutty. It has an intensely nutty aroma and flavour. It also reminds me of dry autumn leaves (not that I've tasted many of those, but I can't shake the association). I'm not a fan of nutty teas, so I don't really enjoy this one.

I drank this tea in the Unami Maison de Thé in Lille. It was served prepared in a small teapot. This means it was made exactly as it should, though I didn't get to see any leaves.

This light tea has a very unique flavor. It tastes very warm and toasty but is to hard to describe. The teas color is a very satisfying golden-yellow color and smells lovely. I definetly reccomend this great tea to anyone who wants to try something new! For all you know, it could be your new favorite flavor!

The dry leaf has an interesting shape, loosely curly, less long and wiry than most Wuyi oolong. It's intensely aromatic, smelling like roast and fruit; the fruitiness is quite astounding, it's maybe a little like dried peaches or apricots.

It's kind of strange that I've had so many Dan Cong oolongs in my life, but no oolong from Wuyishan. I guess that's because of my Chaozhou background. Given the fame of Dahongpao, I guess it's about time to try it out!

I think this is a good example of Tie Guan Yin. This one is definitely of the greener, less oxidized and less roasted variety.
The dry leaf aroma is very pleasant and "green".

Had this a couple of days ago. One of the best oolongs I have ever had. Slight to no astringency. Honey and floral notes with a slight buttery taste. Aroma was very much like a typical oolong with hints of burnt grass.
