When I retired and left the east coast I bought boxes (6) of the decaf green tea and I'm now out and unable to find it in California - I have found it online and I plan to order in the near future - I am down to one tea bag. I do appreciate this tea it's quite delicious not bitter but nice and smooth.

I tried brewing this by the exact same method I had brewed Novus' dragonwell; both were similar portions of whole-leaf tea in pyramid sachets. Although Novus can't really compare with Adagio, as a whole, I think on this particular tea, Adagio's tea fell short.

I want to be diplomatic, but this was pretty terrible, undrinkable, and I poured it out.
Brews a golden cup. Heavily astringent, heavy flavor...like some of the worst Chinese green teas...really not recognizable as a steamed (Japanese) tea, although some toasty tones that resemble some of the lowest-quality bancha ...

This sencha struck me as very typical for the style, and very good.

Among the cloudiest / most opaque sencha's I've seen...bright green in color, even in the second infusion.
