Fantastic tea! I'm also incredibly excited that it's grown in the United States. Read Full Review
For a black tea, I was surprised that the taste reminded me of my favorite oolongs; there was a lot of vegetable flavor happening in my cup.

Wow, not what I was expecting from a black tea in a really good way! This sample came from the Philadelphia Coffee & Tea Expo.Read Full Review
Brews more like an oolong, which is right up my alley. Has the strong vegetable taste of cooked greens. No bitterness at the end. Slight natural sweetness. Floral tones in the dried lea...

First off, I need to comment on the red-tail description at Andrew & Dunham's website - love the sense of humor guys! I don't think I'll be hugging a red-tail hawk anytime soon...Read Full Review

I'm surprised that this was an OP - impressive! I agree with Alex, definitely the best OP I've had, ridiculously complex for such a mainstream style. Read Full Review
I definitely noticed a nice roasted taste to the tea and an extremely unexpected subtle vegetable taste, reminiscent of some of my favorite oolongs. The vegetable ...
Style: Assam – Region: Assam, India67 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5

I'm having mixed feelings about this tea. Initially the smell was amazing, the dry leaf had a complex and spicy aroma. I wasn't as excited about the smell of the tea once it was brewed, the smell lost all of it's spice tones and reminded me of most basic black teas. The taste was pretty basic as well and also remind...Read Full Review

This was a good Darjeeling. Subtly flavored with no bitterness. I thought this was a high quality tea for being bagged. The price was typical for a cafe, I've heard that boxes of this tea can be pricey.Read Full Review

This tea took me back to summers spent sitting out at my parent's house on the deck... I've never experienced a tea smelling so summery and think it was because of its lemon and flower tones. I really could have spent most of my night holding the cup in my hand and taking occasional wiffs! Mmm... smells are one of my...Read Full Review

I was impressed with this tea; it made a good cup to enjoy on my work break. I thought it had a subdued flavor compared to other English Breakfasts, and it didn't leave a bitter aftertaste. Read Full Review

I didn't notice a peppery smell or taste at all, so I feel like the description is deceiving.

This is one of those teas that I get for free at my office, so I can't complain about the price! There isn't much outstanding in its flavor or smell, so it's pretty basic. I think this tea is a decent bagged black tea, and don't mind having it provided for me. Read Full Review

While this wasn't my favorite bagged version of this tea, Choice put forth a decent English Breakfast. I think it could compete with Bigelow and Twinings as an everyday black tea. I'm giving Choice a few extra stars for being organic, which is always a big plus in my book!Read Full Review

I really liked this tea.... it was inexpensive and tasty -- right up my alley! I enjoyed its full and rich flavor and thought it was a good, strong, black tea. I'm happy to call this my 100th tea on the site! :)Read Full Review

I'm happy to say that this was the first tea I've tried from Sikkim, India -- simple and dark, I thought this tea was quite tasty. I didn't notice fruity or floral tones, it was a little astringent. Read Full Review

I thought this tea was really good, it was definitely higher quality than most Darjeelings I've had. The description fits it to a 'T' minus the malty taste -- mellow and sweet. I liked it overall and thought it was much better than other teas I've had... while I didn't have an initial "wow" moment because of personal ...Read Full Review

It was a bitter hot and less so as it cooled off, so I'd be more inclined to make iced tea out of it. There wasn't much of a smell, which I feel is pretty typical for most English Breakfasts I've had anyway.

Smells mean a lot to me and this tea didn't deliver. It smelled smokey, which I normally like, but this was a little too much like an ash tray. The smell is really the only thing I found disagreeable about this tea, a...

Honestly, I don't think this tea is all that bad. It's the first type I've ever had, and while it isn't a fancy and rare loose-leaf brand it's not terrible. It actually tastes similar to a lot of fancier and pricier teas that I've had -- why pay more if you're looking for a basic black?Read Full Review

I thought this tea was exquisite and would drink it again! The flavor was smooth and rich with no bitter aftertaste -- excellent quality in my book. It had a peculiar taste for an oolong, to me it seemed to have a more complex flavor than others that I've tried. I have my own personal hangup with the price, as it do...Read Full Review

This tea wasn't as strong as I expected, considering that it's an Irish Breakfast. Then again I've never been one to think that Irish Breakfast is strong, I've had stronger Assams. I'm a big fan of smells, so I appreciate its roasted aroma. I wouldn't go out of my way for this tea, but I liked it overall and would dr...Read Full Review

The flavor of this tea was a bit smokey and burnt for my taste, but I liked the tea overall. I was especially impressed at how strong the tea was from a small amount of leaf. The price was also extremely reasonable.Read Full Review

I thought this tea was good for a typical English Breakfast, nothing outstanding. It wasn't as flavorful as I thought it would be given that it is loose-leaf tea, but I did enjoy the roasted smell and the heaviness of its consistency. I'd drink it again, but wouldn't go out of my way for it.Read Full Review

I was really impressed by the strength of this tea, especially since I was craving a coffee and given this as a substitute (no coffee on hand today!). While it wasn't as meaty as coffee, I found the brew to have a strong dark flavor that was nearly just as good. As usual, I'm equally impressed by the reasonable price...Read Full Review

I thought this tea was pretty good, it wasn't terribly outstanding, but it satisfied my craving for a basic black, and the price seemed reasonable. With the combined price and quality, I feel like this tea could compete and overthrow my regular bagged blacks any day. I would buy it again if there were a Wegmans close...Read Full Review
