A lovely tea. Almost delicate, almost sweet, almost berry-like. Not much like the Ceylon teas it supposedly resembles. I think it could stand up easily to it's big brother, Darjeeling.It is bright, but smooth, with no tannic overtones. It is also Organic!

On its own, this is a kind of ho-hum tea, tastingkind of woody and over-roasted, without any grapiness to speak of. However, I added some cream to it and that rounded out all the rough edges and made it sweeter and good enough to have 3 cups in a row.

Very rich, smooth, deep, dark and delicious. Don't worry about the pu-erh, it just provides a good grounding note for the other teas and the chocolate. I found this tea to be very different based on how it is brewed.
The light, flat quality of the dry leaf reminds me of dragon well, but the similarity ends there. This tea brews a very clear greenish-yellow color. Regardless of how strongly you brew it, it comes out completely transparent: there's almost no opacit...

One of the best of the Kusmi teas. Light and fragrant, well-balanced, really pleasant. It lacks the heaviness that many of their teas have, which is good in the evening. Perhaps with some cinammon toast to end the day.

Who whee, this is most definitely a breakfast tea. It is about as straigtforward an English style tea as you can get. No nuances, just good black tea, the kind you find in every English pot. This is a very nice tea, smooth and sweet, but with some depth to it. It is very characteristic of the Yunnans of the past few years, as it is not as deep, not as spicy nor as chocolatey as it used to was. I found you can do a second infusion if you use half the water for about 5 minutes.

I brew this for 3.5 minutes with boiling water. It gives off an aroma of woodsiness with overtones of wheat and asparagus. This carries right on over into the taste of the brew, which is malty and woodsy with floral overtones. What a great way to wake up!

Dry, there is very little scent to this tea, but as it brews it smells almost like chocolate, almost like black cherries. I found it to be quite smooth, with a mild, pleasant sweet note, that ends with some briskness

As it brews, this has a licorice and grilled veggie smell. It is less malty than a Ceylon and a bit tangier. There is a very nice roasted edge to it.

I am still feeling my way with Oolongs, so I followed Directions and brewed this at about 205 for about 2 minutes. There was a light flowery scent that flowed right into a soft flowery taste, that just skims over your tongue. I want to experiment with different times and temps to see how that might change.

Yum, what a nice tea. Be sure to brew for just 3 minutes. It is very smooth, with hints of nuts and fruit, along with a good bit of sweetness. There's a little bite at the end to ground it. Very good tea

You need to treat this one as a green and only brew it for 2 minutes. I was not impressed with it hot, but as a cold-brewed tea in the fridge for 5 hours, it was lovely, with a full mouth feel and a somewhat nutty, malty flavor. I'm not a great fan of grocery store tea and PG Tips is my go to for bags, but I gotta say that this is just fine, especially at a friend's house. It just says "warm, comfy, at home"

In spite of this not being the top grade, it is a wonderful tea, a bit - very tiny bit - smokey, but winey and deep, with some roasted overtones. Very satisfying.
