Green Jasmine Tea from Heine Brothers' Coffee
Style: Jasmine Tea – Region: China73 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Jul. 31st, 2015
I really love how this tea smells. The aroma of green tea with the smell of sweet Jasmine. Pay attention when you brew this one it can get bitter if left longer then 3 minutes (I go about 2 minutes). Its a really sharp tea that docent need any additives. But if you don't like your teas bitter I don't recommend this cup...

A very bold, strong-flavored Jasmine that is easy to oversteep.
Thank you to RosaMoon for this one, picked up in a shop in Louisville, KY.
Dry leaf is quite aromatic, and unusually dark in color...looks almost as dark as black tea.
Aromatic but not overwhelming. The base tea's character comes through and it r...
Jasmine Pearls from The Meaning of Tea
Style: Jasmine Pearls – Region: Fujian, China67 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5

A decent Jasmine tea, which I think is on the expensive side.
Dry leaf has a very intense aroma, with a strongly floral jasmine scent, and also strongly fruity, with a minty note.
The Meaning of Tea recommended a heaping teaspoon, but I sensed that this tea would be strong for my tastes, so I went easy, using a t...
Jasmine Romance (Jasmine Green Tea) from Ahmad Tea
Style: Jasmine Tea – Region: China50 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 3/5

The scent and flavor of jasmine is strong, and if you add honey that definitely improves this tea. However, as it cools it goes bitter (even with the bag taken out), and without the honey it's very meh. Not an impressive tea, but probably not the worst jasmine green tea in a bag. Worth trying if jasmine is something yo...

Now sold as "Jasmine Phoenix Pearls," this tea is light and floral. The pearls were nicely wound and were generally free of flaws. The aroma of the leaves is strong with the scent of jasmine. The liquor is light and is, again, strongly scented with jasmine. The taste is a light green tea with a strong jasmine taste - a...

Neither the green tea nor the jasmine is overpowering; this tea has a nice, balanced flavor that's not perfume-y or smoky. I usually don't like green or flowery teas, but I love this one!

A classic jasmine of good quality, very balanced.
The dry leaf is very aromatic, with a strong floral fragrance that is not too perfumey. The leaf is also quite beautiful, with lots of silvery, downy tips and a few whole jasmine flowers thrown in.
Upon brewing, takes on a much rounder, warmer aroma, a lot like b...
Yunnan White Jasmine from Verdant Tea
Style: Jasmine Tea – Region: Lancang, Yunnan, China97 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 4/5

1st infusion, 5s: The liquor was a delicate, yellow-clear shade. The scent, so much more vibrant than any jasmine I have had—it wafted out even as I had just begun cutting the packaging open. Bubble gum? Yes, indeed! But none of the artificiality of bubble gum flavoring, just pure florals and vanilla. Depth, perfume,...

Oh, yum. This is a lovely jasmine green tea – smooth, silky and fragrant. Not a hint of bitterness from the green tea base, and none of the soapy aftertaste I got from the last jasmine pearls I tried. And I love tea that comes in pearls! These didn’t all fully unfurl in the first infusion, so I’ll definitely be r...

This tea reminds me of a lot of the cheap teas they serve for free at old school sit-down Chinese restaurants.
The color is faint red, green-brownish, like what you'd expect from cheap green tea. It is only mildy aromatic of jasmine, has a hint of sweetness, a smooth mouthfeel with little bitterness (when steeped...

Though I'm not generally big on Jasmine green teas, this one was obviously high quality. The floral aspects were heady, but pretty well balanced. I brewed the tea a little too long for the first cup, resulting in it having a slight bitterness characteristic of some Jasmine green teas. My second cup successfully avoided...

Hands down, this is my favorite ever so far Jasmine tea in a sachet! I have been drinking it on special treat for the past several months. I absolutely love the Jasmine smell and the tea tastes exquisite! Each time, I've gotten two full-bodied brews out of my sachet. I plan on trying for a third. No bitterness whats...

Excellent jasmine pearl! Very smooth. I tend to get tired of jasmine teas where the jasmine dominates too much, so I was happy that this one was well balanced. The tea I had was in a sachet rather than loose, but the sachet was very airy and was very full of tea. When I've had loose pearls like this before, I've used o...

Jasmine green teas are quite good when the jasmine flavor is well balanced and blended, not dominating. That is very true of this tea. I received a gift of a small container of the pearls from a co-worker and now enjoy it at work whenever I need a solid traditional-feeling tea. I put in five of the pearls and some hot...

A very bold-tasting Jasmine tea. Tried at my friend Fairleigh's house; thank you for serving this!
Dry leaf is very aromatic, with a strong and pleasing jasmine smell, but also the base tea is evident.
Upon brewing, produces a golden-colored cup with a rich, powerful flavor. A good balance of jasmine flavoring ...

A jasmine tea with a bold green tea flavor and relatively subtle jasmine fragrance. Very different in character from most jasmine teas, but enjoyable.
Leaf is pretty finely broken, grayish green, and slightly curved, looking a lot like lower grades of chun mee.
The aroma of the brewed cup has only a modest jasmi...

This is a lovely jasmine tea. I just brewed this side by side with jasmine pearls from another company, and these definitely win.

I love jasmine teas, and this one is very enjoyable. It's $24.95 for 3 oz. and since Mighty Leaf has coupons/sales pretty regularly, it can be picked up for even less.
The unbrewed tea smells lovely. I usually steep this for around 2-3 minutes and the jasmine aroma while brewing is noticeable.

Outstanding. This was one of the most interesting Jasmine teas I've ever tried. I normally don't think of jasmine as being complex, but this one was multifaceted and I kept finding different qualities in it each time I sipped it.
The tea bag and dry leaf smell almost minty, light, fresh, and cooling.

Jasmine Green (Formerly Monkey King) from Numi Organic Tea

This tea had a strong jasmine scent that was very pleasant. The green tea wasn't as distinct of a scent for me, though once I began sipping it was definitely counter-balancing the jasmine. This one tasted a *lot* like flowering teas I've had in the past.
For the second steeping, I added a bit of honey, but found tha...

I have only one other Green Tea with Jasmine to compare this to, and that one is a teabag presentation by Numi. As far as flavor goes, Primula's Fairy Lily has a very different character. While Numi smacks you in the face with outstandingly fresh jasmine perfumes, this one has a soft, gentle, floral, potpourri fragra...

If you enjoy Jasmine Tea, then I would definitely give this one a try. It is a very good value at approx. $4 an ounce, less than half the price of Rishi's Yin Hao Jasmine Green Tea (which is also excellent). For me, the biggest difference is that you get a bit more flavor of the green tea base, and the Jasmine flavor i...

Like the other Wegmans jasmine teas, I found the dry leaf to have a cloying, bubble gum like sweetness.
Unfortunately, I found this aroma persisted into the brewed cup more than I'd like. Something about it screams artificial. I don't know if this tea is naturally scented but it's one of the less natural Jasmine v...
