Dong Ding Oolong Tea from Eco-Cha
Style: Oolong Tea – Region: Nantou, Taiwan77 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Mar. 7th, 2014
I especially enjoyed the roasty flavor of this tea. There definitely was a slight sweetness, which from my own preferences, I wasn't a huge fan of. I always find it impressive when I get a few cups of tea with similar strength off the same leaves, and this tea delivered. I've only had two oolongs from Eco-Cha so far...

I think this is by far the best lemon tea I've had in a bag! I really can't wait to get more.
Because it's atypical of me to like any type of flavored tea, especially lemon, I feel that my liking this tea *a lot* is substantial.
I brewed it on the light side for 3 minutes, and was elated with the results: a f...
Tsui Yu Jade Oolong Tea from Eco-Cha
Style: Oolong Tea – Region: Nantou, Taiwan90 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 5/5
Feb. 12th, 2014
I thought this tea was fantastic. I loved the vegetable flavors and light floral tone. The only thing I didn't like was the mild sweetness, but that hardly changes how much I enjoyed it. I also loved that I was able to brew four cups out of out one sample packet, without the tea loosing any flavor!

I agree with Alex, I thought this was one of the better bagged Senchas I've had so far. I really enjoyed the fresh grassy smell and the spinachy taste. I brewed it for a short time, so its taste wasn't too overpowering.

I was impressed with this tea; it made a good cup to enjoy on my work break. I thought it had a subdued flavor compared to other English Breakfasts, and it didn't leave a bitter aftertaste.

Jan. 17th, 2014
This tea was decent. I enjoyed its nice cinnamon flavor and smell. It wasn't too strong because I brewed it for a short time. I prefer my spicey teas to be subtle! I assume the longer suggested brew time would yield a stronger tea.

Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: Blend70 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Jan. 2nd, 2014
I braced myself for the "Bracer" and made sure not to steep it too long. About a minute in my cup and I got a nice fruity drink that wasn't too overwhelming for my taste buds. It also had a nice purple color. I probably wouldn't buy it on my own, my tastes go for more vegetable-y teas... but nice all the same.

I thought this tea was great, I really enjoyed the jasmine smell and the flavor. I think it's definitely a great basic jasmine for me to have around the house (although it's a little pricier than what I would normally get). While I didn't find it out-of-this-world, I thought it was yummy just the same. :)

I thought this tea was great. I could rave about it, but will settle for saying I loved the hint of flowers in the smell and the hearty vegetable soup taste it left in my mouth... practically a meal in itself. Now I just need to know, where can I buy some? Sign me up, I'm there!

Yunnan Gold (Golden Yunnan) from Adagio Teas
Style: Yunnan Gold – Region: Yunnan, China80 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Nov. 18th, 2013
I thought this tea was great. I really liked the roasty smell, and thought it was a great tea for a cool fall morning.
I didn't notice a peppery smell or taste at all, so I feel like the description is deceiving.
English Teatime from Bigelow Tea
Style: Black Tea – Region: ?????60 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Nov. 10th, 2013
This is one of those teas that I get for free at my office, so I can't complain about the price! There isn't much outstanding in its flavor or smell, so it's pretty basic. I think this tea is a decent bagged black tea, and don't mind having it provided for me.

I thought this tea was great! I'm a big fan of Jasmine, so I really liked the aroma of this tea. It wasn't as strong as most Jasmines I've had, but it certainly delivered subtle floral tones. The flavor didn't pack a huge punch, but I found it enjoyable! This was definitely a high-quality tea.

I wasn't all that impressed with this tea. The Jasmine smell was a little weak and it had left a strong burnt aftertaste in my mouth after brewing for the recommended time. The taste reminded me more of a black tea than a green.
Not my favorite bagged Jasmine tea for hot tea -- I'll keep looking for something more ...

This is one of the most complex and unusual teas I've ever tried -- I loved it!
I was especially surprised by this tea's taste, since I'm accustomed to my green teas being subtly flavored. The taste was an unexpected blend of cooked vegetables and toasty tones, reminding me of asparagus paired with pea soup,,, whic...
Orange & Cinnamon Spice from Twinings

Sep. 17th, 2013
With Autumn coming up in the next few weeks, I thought I'd give my new collection of cinnamon spice teas a try. Twinings Orange & Cinnamon Spice was the first.
So, I wasn't all that impressed. I'll give them credit though... it did certainly make me think of fall, with a smell and texture reminding me of the coug...
English Breakfast from Choice Organic Teas

Sep. 9th, 2013
While this wasn't my favorite bagged version of this tea, Choice put forth a decent English Breakfast. I think it could compete with Bigelow and Twinings as an everyday black tea. I'm giving Choice a few extra stars for being organic, which is always a big plus in my book!

I'm happy to say that this was the first tea I've tried from Sikkim, India -- simple and dark, I thought this tea was quite tasty. I didn't notice fruity or floral tones, it was a little astringent.

I thought this tea was really good, it was definitely higher quality than most Darjeelings I've had. The description fits it to a 'T' minus the malty taste -- mellow and sweet. I liked it overall and thought it was much better than other teas I've had... while I didn't have an initial "wow" moment because of personal ...

It's been a long time since I've had a Dragon Well. I thought this was a good sample, yummy and mellow, and nice to relax with at lunch... albeit a little pricey for everyday. It reminded me a little of pea soup, in a good way mind you. I didn't taste chestnut hints, as the description suggestions, but I'm not disap...

Oh my gosh, I loved this tea! This is on my list of next tea purchases, alongside barley tea. I was really surprised how much this tea reminded me of barely tea, scent-wise, and I enjoyed it's dark roasty tones. Its quality was beyond what I usually expect from a tea bag.

I thought this tea was simple and tasty. The scent was unlike any other green tea I've had! It had an unexpected berrylike aroma, reminding me of berry body creams I've used. I thought this tea was a steal and really good for being from novelty company! I've found their boxes for $1.50 -- not bad if you ask me.
The tea smelled like plum, and had a nice taste, albeit bitter, but nice. It was strong for an oolong and I thought it tasted more like a black.
